WHO ARE WE

Our service is located within the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA. Fusion Empower Youth Services has served youth, their families, and the community for over 20 years. In the early 2000s, Fusion Western Sydney was presented with the opportunity to deliver youth work programs in the Canterbury LGA in response to the heightened crime rate, safety issues and lack of youth engagement programs.

Fusion Australia welcomed the opportunity and received funding to engage with young people with an Early Intervention and Prevention framework. Thus, Fusion Youth Services was born. Youth workers were involved with local youth and their schools through outreach programs such as Breakfast Clubs, Lunchtime Outreach, and facilitating a Youth Centre – the Fusion Youth Café.

In 2019, the name was changed to Fusion Empower Youth Services or FEYS to reflect our goals for the community better. Our Values and Fundamentals remain from their inception, and we continue to work alongside young people and their families – building them up to see them thrive.
